Ahhh. . . . heres another good new growers question ?
Once, i have trianed my vines and staked/ buried the secondaries,, do i just chopp the ends off the secondaries with a shovel and bury them ?????

A shovel is overkill. Just use a good knife, its a lot easier to carry and there's less chance of whacking off a chunk of your plant by accident.

You'll learn this quick...the tip of the vine once broken is the end of that vines forward movement...pinch the tip and that vine stops there...when they say they lost the main vine it's usually because the tip got snipped somehow...very fragile ends of the vine are to be protected if you want it to continue on...You're learning alot...quickly from the posts I've read so far....keep learning...Good Luck! Do not bury. I do not think it is a good idea to rub dirt into a wound. It opens up a site for infection.
