I stake the vines down with 1/4 in. bambo sticks in an X shape over the vines. i'm looking for a better way to bury my vines, this year i just pulled dirt from the sides of the vine. a 20x15 ft area= 300 sq ft. That's a little small for one plant. However, you can grow a very, very big pumpkin. i've heard of 1000 lb pumpkins grown in less area than yours. read everything you can get your hands about growing AGs.
