Leaves turning brown down the center next to the veins. Weather hasn't been that hot and have had plenty of rain. A little powdery mildew, but not bad, treated last week with Captan. Changing to Daconil next spraying.

i ahve more leaves turning brown day by day.... could be age or spraying....i am leaning towards age, i dont spray often....

You might want to check if you got spider mites. They are very small and you hadly notice them.

Sprayed with Daconil yesterday. Mildew not as bad on giants as it is on our jack-o-lanterns. My husband lost one yesterday. 106#, rotted on inside on blossom end. He has another one coming along. Gained 34# in 3 days.
