This is my first year flying solo, late start on seeds due to the learning curve (Really should practice germinating when they say to :) I have a really nice 7ft plant that is averaging 1/2inch an hour growth and secondaries are starting to come along nicely. The first couple feet of the main are light yellow and dark green areas near the leaf shoots. The plant seems to be perfectly healthy but it bothers me a bit. I am feeding a high phosphate water soluable and fish/seaweed emulsion once a week, both not mixed very strong at this point. Just curious if this is anything unusual. As always, thanks in advance :)

Some vines 'stripe' and some just turn yellow. If leaves are a healthy green then everything's fine. I have a few that are sort of striped green and yellow, and the stripes change where they're at at each node, and a few that went neon yellow.

Mister Stripeys are very particular on the weather. If you hit it right (days of mid 80's and nights in 50's) it produceces and makes tastey beautiful tomatoes. Get it too hot and pbbht.
You get a picture of that 500#?

I was told that when you have a healthy plant with yellow vines that sometimes that means your pumpkin will have a more distinct orange color.
