I've been spraying Ortho garden disease and pest control on not only my pumpkins but the vegetable garden as well. Problem is it rains every night just after I spray, washing it all off. I've been re-applying in hopes that it will be effective on my hail-battered pumpkin leaves as well as my tomatoes which are showing signs of either blight or some kind of bacterial wilt. Now I'm wondering, is it ok to keep applying this stuff as I have been? The label says every 7 days but I've been doing it every other night because it keeps getting washed off by rain.

Aliette is another fungicide tht you can use. It can be absorbed through the leaves or roots, so if it gets washed off the roots can still take it up. It has helped us through some problems brought on by wet soil.

if you dont switch up on any sprays eventually the plant becomes acustomed to them and they become ineffective.

Go with anything containing myclobutanil. Its a systemic and once absorbed, is not affected by rain.
It may have some effect on your mycorrhizal though.
