Hi. I posted photos of main vine. With closer inspection it appears it had a triple mainstem and not just a double. Luckily (I think luckily lol) One of the stems split off naturally and seems healthy (see photos). I split other two stems with a razorblade and both seem to be okay but here is my question. It seems like I would be better off cutting off the two that I split and keeping the one that split off naturally. I have many months for this vine so it seems like it should be able to recoup. Also i have three other plants going anyhow. Any advice on this. I think I should cut off two I split but I have never even seen a double or triple vine before this lol. Thanks for any advice. Steve

Steve,
I'd let it produce 1-2 more nodes before cutting as mine have always self corrected. Try watering heavily for a week as well.

Hi. Thank you. I appreciate the imput. I had never seen anything like this before so had no idea of how to handle it. Needless to say whatever pumpkin comes off this one is named Frankenpumpkin hahaha. Steve
