just wondering if anyone can help me out with the timing for starting indoors here in central MN. I would also appreciate any advice on getting set up with lights, heaters, etc. to get my plants going indoors. Thanks!

Get them seeds wet this Friday! Advice is always relative to what kind of time you plan to devote and money you are willing to spend.

For the 4 or 5 days at the most seedlings stay in pot before transplanting i wouldn't devote much time or invest much money in lights, heathers etc. Besides, even if seedling gets a bit leggy because of lack of light it's not an issue. You can bury it up to cots while transplanting and it will even throw more roots that way.

Started soaking mine last night hoping to be in the ground Sunday/Monday at the earliest and Wed/Thurs at the very latest. Someone down here started about 4-5 days ago and will be planting soon. He does have heating cables as well as hoophouses/greenhouses for protection.
