I did a soil test today...nothing fancy (I know I should have just sent it in) and it came back with a neutral pH, medium nitrogen, and low phosphorou and K. Any ideas of a semi-quick fix. Or at least a starting point??

Well it depends on the "kit" some are designed for real testing,,,if you spent a few hundred bucks or did it in a lab at say,,,a school then you might be inline with what a lab would have found.

You would need to show us the size of the patch and the actual results of the test to make a call on helping you.
Not knowing what your future plans are for with that area makes a difference in suggestions as well.

Simple fix would be to use a fert high in P and K if you want to go that route.

Bone meal (P) and Sulphate of Potash (K) but how much can't be said until you know how much you already have, and what type of soil you have (CEC).

I seem to be on a rant lately about wood ashes. They contain lots of potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.Hardwood preferred. I use my pellet stove ashes.
