I know I've had this conversation with some of you but the question comes up again...Pretty sure G said he has a seed that grows either green or orange and he knows which is which...Now is there a specific way of removing seeds by ovaries and separating them and if so do people really do this??? and is one ovary throwing green while the others might be orange or are the green/orange thing mixed throughout the pumpkin? Intriguing idea Chuck. I suppose even if folks haven't been doing this (the thought never entered my mind before finding this site), maybe we should be.
I plan to grow a seed next year that had thrown some greenies in the past. That tendeancy has been elusive of late. But if we map all non-cull fruit in a diary & carefully remove seed by segment......is that what you're thinking?
