Hi!
I've just finished my first pumpkin season and want to increase my chance of improving upon this years efforts. I have sent a few soil samples off to be analysed and im awaiting the results. I tried finding 'the perfect soil conditions', if that exists with no joy so far.
Could someone please suggest a rough level of what each of the individual test criteria will be for optimal growth. Unless, it is already somewhere else in which i would be very greatful for a handy push in the right direction.
Many thanks

If you go to the "soil preparation" message board here and check the many posts there you will probably find some very helpful information. Hope this helps and good luck!

PUMPKIN BRAIN
IM NOT TRYING TO PUSH MY SOON TO BE OFFERED BOOK CALLED "DICKS TIPS 2" BUT, IN THIS BOOK IS A COMPLETE ARTICLE ON SOIL, TEST RESULTS, ADJUSTMENTS, WRITTEN BY MY SON RON WALLACE. A 2006 WORLD RECORD HOLDER. ALSO A CHAPTER ON INSECT AND DISEASE SPRAYS, PLUS A SPRAY PROGRAM SCHEDULE TO APPLY IT.
THERE ARE 15 CHAPTERS IN THIS INEXPENSIVE GUIDE FOR THE NEW/NEWER GROWER THAT IM SURE WILL IMPROVE GROWER SKILLS.
