10:09 in the evening. is is hard to stay up late to chat and get up early in the morning to go to work. the nights are long now with it getting dark by 5:00 PM and I can't always stay up late to chat....boredom is setting in....

Yo Owen, that´s a nasty time of the year. Leaving for work in the morning, it´s dark, coming home, it´s dark again, I take a lamp with a long wire just to see if there´s a chance the construction work at our house will be finished for christmas, I work there till midnight, go inside, there´s only a kitchen and a small crowded room to sleep, no bathroom, no TV, that´s fun.
I guess I take some seeds to my office tomorrow and grow them. A 712 Kuhn right in front of my boss. 846 Calais for his wife in the other room. 845 Bobier in the conference room. Any more ideas are welcome. Man, that winter depression is on the way...

Ingo, I got seeds germinating all over the place, got one growing in the living room at home, got one here at work. everyone thinks i am nuts, then i start to talk to them about pumpkin genetics and they all shake there heads and mumble something about how i use to be such a level headed guy....i don't understand what they are talking about. oh well, gotta go back to my seed research.....owen

Glad to see your able to post again Chuck. Early for you is probably while I'm at work here. Not allowed to chat, against company rules. The earliest that I hit the chat room is about 9 PM here, which is 3 PM on the east coast. I usually am able to chat with a couple of the east coast growers before they gotta go eat dinner. I gotta stay up till well after midnight here to chat with the west coast guys. Oh well, gotta get back to work. Psst, don't tell anyone that I was visiting web sites for personal pleasure...lol
