Hi. I think this may be a strange question but some of our friends have big max pumpkins and it is too late to get some atlantic giants into ground. if they pollinate with some of my male flowers will it boost the size of their big max's. this is my first year growing these and i did not know but had been told squash family plants such as pumpkins show these sort of things in first generation. Thanks. steve

You could polinate a big max with anything and it will make no differece to its size this year. Think of it this way, the Pumpkin is the Mother, the seeds are the babies. Polinators only effect the performance of the seeds in the pumpkin.
