i know most people say dont measure until day 10, so if you got 3 fruit pollinated on 1 plant all within day 10, you leave them all on for atleast 10 days until you measure them all, and then decide which 2 to cull?

Different growers approach this different ways but I would go down to your two best pumpkins and then go with your best pumpkin on day 10. That way you are only creating two sinks rather than 3 so your pumpkins will be getting a little more energy.

For me its mostly about postition and time. I only want fruits on the main vine more than 10' out. I don't pollinate any on the secondaries unless all the main fruits have failed, but this hasn't happened to me yet. Or if I just want some smaller pumpkins. If you want the biggest fruit it needs to be on the main vine. I also believe the more fruits you pollinate on a plant the more likely you are to have aborts. I read about growers having 7, 8, 9 or more pumpkins on one plant and can't imagine why.
Are all the fruits on the main vine? Any not on the main are the ones I'd remove first.
How far apart, in days, are the pollinations?
How many secondaries are behind each main vine fruit?
