2nd tear grower, got the plants in 6/1, and made the MISTAKE
of cutting all tendrils, third vines, and MALE flowers, hoping to put extra energy into vine growth.
The vines did well out 12-18' on the main, lots of secondary vines 3'-10'.
I stopped cutting Male flowers mid-June
I've had 2-3 females open each day since Friday.
I have NO Males ready to open.
If there's anybody around the Nashua NH (I work in Hudson) Lowell MA, area with some males I could grab I'd appreciate it!!
It doesn't look like I'll have open males for a few more days.
Thanks to Joe Port in Billerica for the Tour of his patch, very impressive, and for the males he gave me SAT. I was able to Polinate 2 Sun. and 2 this AM.
Any males available please let me know.

Note I've got 8 plants, and I think the # of females getting ready to open is going to take a big jump shortly.
I do have males just not ready to open.
Can you force them along????

I work in Wilmington MA down the street from Lowell I have males from my 1566 Rodonis if you'd like them.

If you bring some to work Tues. I'll come and get them.
I'm getting some tonight from a woman in town, don't know the genetics.
But I'd love 1566.

Thanks for the help.
I polinated 2 this AM, with a 821 Bousanto, thanks Carol. Looks like there'll be 2 or 3, tomorrow and 2-3 Thursday.
Still no males ready.

I can meet you any time that's good for you.
It'd be a nice day to leave work a bit early.
I heard there's an Irrigation supply place in Tewksbury on rte 38, that I can hit on the way to Wilmington.
