Subject: slow growth?

my plant has been outside for several weeks I water often it hasn't been really hot but it doesn't seem to be growing fast i'll try to post a pic later any suggestions would be helpful thanks Anthony

Night temperatures seem to be very important in how much growth you get. Have your nights been staying in the low fifties or higher? Else the plants just seem to sort of sit there. Daytime needs to be reasonable as well... you might need in that area to grow with a hoop house and/or mulch to warm your ground. You can try black plastic on the ground to try to warm things up, that will add 5-10 degrees which may help.

ok thanks its been above 50 ever nite maybe my soil is cooler i'll try the plastic

What grow zone are you? And I've heard your area has been cooler and wetter than usual, which would make for less rapid growth.... What is your day temperature average?
Mine sort of sat at 40's at night and 60's-70's during day, then took off when my lows stayed in low 50's or higher and days started climbing over 80....
Also about your soil, did you have a soil test done AND did you add anything (compost, worm castings, etc) before planting?

its in the 80's during the day 60's at night yes I added compost to soil and tested it. Its seems to be picking up the last 2 days.
