I just wanted to drop a line on here and thank Chuck Veader. He gave my mom (Linda) a couple of seeds for me to try out here in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have five plants going on my property and two more at a friends place in town. I will get hot and post a few photos for you to check out.
I love the site and am so excited about growing your pumpkins. :-) Thanks a million for the fun.

Amy,

You are very welcome. I hope the Northern California seeds like the weather in Virginia. Grow a big one!

Chuck..I am looking for a way to send you pics. I put seeds in the ground on 14 May and they are just beautiful healthy plants now. I am blessed with rich soft soil here and we are only about 40 acres as a crow flies from the back bay water front here in Virginia Beach. I sure hope I do you proud. I will keep you posted. If you have any advice I am all ears...well um...eyes I guess hehehe. Take care,
Amy
