What date should I start my seed germination with my heat pad. I live in New Hampshire!

123, hope this don't sound like a smart a## response....AG's are supposed to take 120-150 days...from germination to harvest. Most seed pkg's for veggies give this type of (not very specific) info. Count backwards from the day you want to harvest, and plant on that day, but not too soon that yer plants will be outside before last frost!!! Hope this helps!!! Peace, Wayne
PS...approx 10 days from start of germ process till planting outside! So if you feel safe planting outside on May 1st, start seeds on April 20th or so??
PPS...I cheat the starting date by setting up a small greenhouse 5' x 5' w/a small elec heater w/ thermostat to keep it warm at night!!! Cause, I want a mature pkn for mid Aug. weighoff!!!!

Lasr couple years I have started my seeds around April 27th or 28th. As soon as I see the first true leaf its going in my patch, and thats around May 5th. I have started my seeds a week earlier before(april 21st) and really noticed them quit growing way to early. You would be surprised what a week would do. I try not to have them sitting in my patch not growing for 3 weeks before weigh off time, id like to have them growing when I cut them off for weigh off, but that never seems to work out like it does for Jutras, Mckie, Wallace, ect,lol

You should try to contact "Kuhn's Cronies" but I'd say the last week in April would be about right.
