What's the scoop with foliar feeding? I have read some articles that think it is great, while others shy away from it. Has anyone had luck with this method? Would you recommend it? What products would you recommend? Thanks! Jenny

2nd year w/these bad boys, (Not NSBz), so take it for what it's worth.
Careful not to foliar feed in the hot afternoon sun. You'll suffer leaf burn. Feed the leaves early AM or in the early eve. I think the combo of the sun reflecting on the droplets and the fertilizer not absorbing just drying on the leaf, aren't good. If you go w/chemicals (ex;Miracle Gro), go weak.
I used Neptunes Harvest,3-2-1, 2-3-1, 1-1-2, depending on the time of year.Noticed big difference in couple days in leaf color(Yellow Splotching), after adding N directly to the leaves. Also applied Alaska Fish, Miracle Gro(weak), Ironite, & Compost & Soil A Tea, (Probably some other stuff, too). I was foliar feeding, every 2-4 days as time/weather allowed. Good Luck/Grow Big Kevin

Thank you for the great tips! Now if it would just stop snowing . . . At least I'll be planting my tomatoes on St. Patrick's Day. That will keep me busy for a little while anyway . . .Does anyone else love the smell of potting soil? Ah! Spring!
