My 1st year expierence opinion: I think they are still good, the older they get the less likely they are to grow.

2003 seeds are not really considered old yet. The life of a seed depends mainly on how they are stored.
The 1001 seeds are REALLY old!!! I have my doubts about those. lol
just kidding with ya! They should be fine.

Peace,Wayne, Thanks for the incouragement. I need all the help I can get. Im hoping for a better show this coming season..Im gonna use some new ground this year for the pumpkin and hopefully will be able to pay the water bill, unless I can get a big storage (cheap, like free) tank for rainwater.

CB,
just a thought to keep in mind, Do you know any farmers/have any farmers nearby? Can't remember much farming community close to Williamsburg, too many years gone by to remember...sometimes some farmers have old liquid tanks that may have splits or whatever (maybe too small) that they sometimes don't use anymore..usually willing to part with cheap..have a couple located here for myself, have to relocate them this spring...hope this helps...Joe
