Some people use it as fungicide

Don't put it on your soil as the fat will waterproof it. I added a lot to a manure pile once (can't remember how much exactly but it was in the region of 1000 gallons)and let it rot for a year or so,I believe it was a factor in significantly raising Calcium levels in my patch.

Better with Agro-K liquid calcium if you are looking to add calcium during the season, or granulated gypsum pre-season or fall.

I've used milk to control Powdery Mildew. I sprayed a 10% solution once a week & it worked very well.
The only reason milk would help the pumpkin is by controlling PM. A healthier plant can support a larger pumpkin.

Tremor, will the milk help eliminate PM or just useful as a prventative measure? Did you use anything else for control?
I imagine that if you began to see an issue, you could do a quick daconil spray.
Can resistance to milk occurr? lol
What about other diseases, did you prevent PM but see any other issues when using milk?
Thanks

Jordon,
Milk seems to be strictly preventive but for PM, so is virtually everything else. Milk doesn't control anything else that I am aware of.
