It has been raining non-stop for six days now here in Malaysia. Seven of my newly planted pumpkin plants are destroyed. The remaining five are badly damaged. This is bad news for me, a first-timer. Somehow, my field-pumpkins are surviving. I'm glad that my BP friends have given me enough seeds to try again. In Malaysia the climate is hot and wet throughout the year. We can plant and harvest throughout the year. I will keep trying.

Sorry to hear that Durai. I hope that your following plants are doing better, just keep on trying and you will get great pumpkin. Here in Northern Europe we have different problems, season is short and we need to protect pumpkins from cold. Hardly cant wait next Spring to come.

That would be awesome to be able to grow year round. You could start a new plant every month, which means you would harvest a pumpkin every month, that would be cool.

It is raining seven days in a row now. Wet Merry Christmas!LOL. The pumpkin leaves are covered with a thick layer of mud. Tried washing with water. No way they can pick-up. Thank you friends for your encouragement. Durai
