I live in Orient Ohio 20 milesoutside of Columbus. I moved to Ohio in July and attended the Circleville Pumpkin Show. Wow!!!! I was impressed by the size of those pumpkins and I am now wanting to try at a 2000 lb pumpkin. I am reading every book I can get my hands on,but I still am looking for a club or organization in my area that can help. I am also wanting a place to get some quality seeds.

mtn high...several places to look on this site that can get you some excellent seeds for a minimal price. 1st go to main board, click on links, look thru those for clubs near you...there are several,southern ohio, ohio valley, indiana, kentucky(not listed under links, yet)... 2nd...look thru seed exchange thread on the message board(I would recommend 1068 Papez)...lots of generous folks on this site offering up seeds for the cost of a bubbleope!!! 3rd...wait till later and bid on seeds at auctions held at this site...tons of fun, and cost depends on how deep yer pockets are...4th...email me a wsmpeace@aol.com and I will find you a seed or two with 1 ton possibilities....lots more to it than just a see tho!!! You might also look at the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers in Canfield, Ohio (www.ovgpg). Thats a big group with a lot of activity and a great weigh off.
