Subject: Anybody growing a 1450 wallace?

Is'nt the 1450 wallace the plant that was still growing strong but had something wrong with it, stem or split, something like that.

the 1450 wallace plant was great. had a super hot summer and dry. it has done great considering.

my 1450 chosen fruit just so happened to end up to be the third pollination on the plant ( july 7th ) and was set way behind because of two fruit that i though i was going to keep that were in front of her. after culling one and them a second in front of her a week later (split in stem - did not want problems all year )she got off to a slow start.
shes doing ok i call her mrs potato head. long - low- wide pollinated with our 1502 which also is long - low - and wide. ( a great combination for 2007 planting me thinks) shes still doing 17 a day and is a tad over 1,000 now

1450 here was a great plant. Not sure why but the first one aborted the second didnt want to grow and was culled and the third is OK but wont make 1000 unless it goes way heavy. I hope it makes a great pollinator. I am honored to have had the chance to grow it.

joe jutras has a very good size fruit off the 1450.still growingv quite well considering the time of year. id guess he will be somewhere between 1200 and 1300 by weigh off day.
thanks mike --- i appreciate your comment not a lot of those seeds but you will have another for next year if you want
