Ok, it was only 12 lbs and it was not one she knew about yet, BUT, it was supported on the just klike the other six pumpkins and it stopped growing and actually lost size. I figured the problem was rot on the bottom and I was right. It was supported by a piece of foam insulation under the pumpkin. this type of insulation has a plastic wrap on it but for some reason I thought it was what you should use if you could not find the ever elusive "Pulp Fabric". SO, did I just find out how the rest of them are going to die or is this just a freak incident???

Puter I use the same thing under some pumpkins and havent had any of them rot. I think it was just the actual fruit and you should be fine. It was just a abortion like 1234567890 said.

Thanks!!!
It makes me feel alot better, Just need to make it to the last week of Oct so my little girls can carve the pumpkins. This is my learning year for mistakes. I have several pumpkins just incase I lose one. But if I lose them all, Daddy will have to find a Large pumpkin grower in a hurry!!!
Thanks again.
