Pap, Hi, Doug Heathman here. I grew 1110wallace its at 740# pollinated 1jul. started out fast till it got to 100+ temp and slowed way down . will take to Kansas state fair 6sep. Only putting on 2-3 # a day now, plant was 300 ft before pumpkin and 100 ft after. Also growing 1502 , set it out early May and it didnt start growing till June , when soil finally warmed up here in western Ks. really cool spring .pollinated selfed 6jul, plant only 300Ft, plant didnt grow after pumpkin set ,I broke it turning it, at about 15ft. was on 1200#pace till temp. got in 100 Degree +, at 804# 26 aug at 8 lb a day and decreasing. Hope to take this one to weigh off in oct. 1110 has huge stem, tall deep ribs, and short stem to stem, 1502 long and low ,looks like small 1502with green stem. Thanks again for doing the sngpg seed promotion. Doug Heathman

Unfortanately, my 1502 pumpkin was severly damaged by hail (was not covered yet). It was too late to try and set another and was out of room, so I had to yank her. At least I got to use some pollen! :) Very aggressive plant though.
I also lost my own 506 Spada from '06 to the same hail storm. I usually don't cover them until the leaves stop shading them. Lesson learned!!!!

Pumpkin Pastor,
It looks like the $5.00 is for check cashing on non-USA funds. I am a member. The annual dues are $20.00 per year. (US funds) The club sends out an excellent newsletter. Last year, the seed promo had a cost of $80.00. However, that was for about 40 seeds from top growers with excellent genetics. That's $2.00 per seed.

Pap The 1502 wallace seeds has been nothing short of amazing for me. The C=149, other measurements are 95 and 100. the plant is very agressive and doing awesome. Still bright green leaves.
The 977 is just as amazing. Right now still growing about 30 pounds a day and this one is on a small vine.
keep me on your list for the next distribution. Thanks!!

Sorry, can't read, opps. Still $20 and $80 for the seeds is worth it. Can't much more for $100 that will help a new guy.
