I have one pumpkin growing with massive shoulders but it gets really narrow towards the end. Its got a distinctive line and Im just hoping it doesnt split. Is there anything I can do to help prevent it from splitting. Water more or water less. Slow down on the ferts? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

jason the blossom end if tapered is usually quite thick and can take an interior crack or two

what pumpkin is it on? some are known for sag lines.at the shoulders can be a killer but at a tapered blossom end are much less of a worry
