One year I treated my plants to some GA3 to increase growth during a cool spell. I accidentally calculated the rate wrong & applied 4X the correct dose. One vine was 55' long before I saw the first female flowers but they all aborted. I eventually did set a fruit in mid-August on a side which meant that the first pumper was around 70' from the basal crown. It weighed 220 pitiful pounds.
