Is 6 inches in circumference good for 4 day out?

I can't tell you if it is good or bad. I can tell you what my pumpkins have done this year and they are growing at a decent rate--not world records, but enough to make people stare. When I pollinated my females their bases were usually 4-5". If the pollination took, they seemed to grow at least 1" overnight and about an inch or more from there. If the pollination didn't take or they were aborted then the growth was below 1".
