got a late start this year in nh. i have a decent looking female about 8ft out on the main. it looks like it will open tomorow. unfortunately it doesnt look as though a male will be open by then. can you prevent the female from opening some how? probably a dumb ? im just frustrated cause the next female in line is very small and not nearly ready to open and it is late in the season not to have a pumkin pollinated. thanks for any advice or help!

Nothing can delay the female. Once she opens you'll have several hours to do the deed.
With all of the kindgrowers in NH I am CERTAIN you can get some male flowers tonight or tomorrow.
