Subject: main Vine wrong direction?

Is it possible to turn the main vine the opposite way..I have seen the pictures of staking the vine,but this one needs to go completely opposite???

had to do a 180 on one of plants this year. just take it slow and move a few inches everyday. since you live in hot climate should be easy to do just wait till the vine warms up mid-day on should do the trick.just dont try to correct all at once.

I also have a plant that needs to go nearly 180. I have some bamboo stakes. Do I just put them up against the side of the vine nudging in the new direction every new 6"-12" of growth until it is going the right way?

that will work. just be careful when moving the vine.
