I started the season trying to hand pollinate to get an early set-not worried about genetics etc. Out of 3 plants, I had one that took.
I started having issues with open females and no males. After watering and praying, I started to get a few males that opened up in a timely fashion. I decided to leave them alone and let Mother Nature do her thing. I now think I'm getting pumpkins to set. I saw all those bees inside the flowers and knew that mother nature probably has this pollination thing down better than I do.
Am I too late (july 15th) to hope for a big pumpkin from these possibly pollinated pumpkins?

Not too late IMO. I've had one estimated at about 535 lbs., which was pollinated around Aug. 1.

I don't think you are to late at all.
