As of yet I have not found any info on weigh-off's or the largest AG in New Mexico. Thanks in advance.

Looks like you may be the leader, I'm sure there are people here who know all about getting started. Maybe you can find one of those aliens from roswell and have him zap it into a giant one.

The UFO Festival is this weekend. This place is going to go crazy.
There is no-way that I can be the first one to grow an AG in this state.
Ben(HotPumpkin) from Phoenix, Az believes that the NM record may be 151 lbs. I am trying to figure out where the record may be. If mine turns out, then I will have to do what he did. Find a certified scale and get the extension office to come out and inspect my pumpkin.
I would appreciate any leads.

The Chaves County extension office called bright and early today. They have never heard of somebody growing a large pumpkin. They told me to get in touch with the State Fair. The State Fair is scheduled for August, which the pumpkin is still growing at that time. There is an Eastern New Mexico Fair that is in the first week of October. I will be getting in touch with them.
I still would appreciate any other info.
