Since I am not getting any true pumpkin growth possibly due to poor pollenation. If you wanted to blow a pumpkin up which I do. I figure you have to do it to learn. What would you all do. I have increased the water and nitrogen to the plant the last couple of days and the vine is going crazy again but the fruit still sits there. Any ideas! adding peters 20-20-20 / kelp granular/dried blood/ calcium nitrate/muriate of potash 0-0-22/neptunes fish seaweed ...and still nothing.

gunpowder or dynamite will work wonders if you truly want to blow it up.

How long could a soil test take! Bet my wife tossed it out the window instead of bringing it to the post office like she said. Hmmm....

Hang in there Chuck. Last year with the wacky heat waves we had, I didn't get a fruit set that stayed until the 2nd week of August...then got hit by frost at 49 days old--203 EST. It actually lasted longer off the vine, carved, & on my porch than its age! I almost had to put lights & ornaments on it!

Or on the other hand the nitrogen could cause a spontaneous abort and not help the pumpkins at all!
