Should I bury the stump? If so, how early in the growing season?

No expert here, but have read, and seen pics in diaries, (look thru '06 diaries of some of the top dogs), and burying the stump is not a good thing! Most folks seems to open up the stump area (trim off first few leaves, and maybe first secondary), and try to keep it dry. Hope this helps. Best advice, go thru diaries from past years, and look at pics of HHer's!!! Peace, Wayne
