Sorry guys, just wanted to get your attention !!!

The question I have is about beer though.
This may seem off the wall but:
I have heard of, and even saw it on television, people feeding their pumpkin plants on beer.Has anyone ever used this method and are there any known benefits to doing this ?
Personally I would rather sit down by my patch and drink the beer myself but if there is some benefit then I would be interested to try.

drink the beer!
I once dumped a couple of gallons of home brew around a pumpkin plant about 10 yrs ago. NOT A GOOD THING. LOL
Pumpkin plant didn't grow well after that and never got a pumpkin from it.

id rather drink the beer ( ice cold of course), then pee on the ground around the plant. that way we both benefit lol

I agree with pap, drink the beer, Maybe put up a hamock, so you can rest and still be near your pumpkins.

I think I saw the same program on tv. I believe beer mixed with dishsoap will clean the pollution off the leaves

my old skunked beer or left overs half fulled ones from parties all go into the patch.

I've dumpped a couple of keg ends into my compost. There were no problems except that the worms tried to attack the feeding birds. One tried to copulate with the cat's tail.
