Hi there. A bit of a general question with many `correct` answers I suspect. I`m interested in planting dates in the UK. Our climate is not the same as you guys in the US and Canada and I`m wondering what the experiences of growers in the Uk are. I was thinking of starting seeds off about the 2nd week in May and then planting out at the beginning of June. Does this sound about right ? I will be planting outside with plant protection and heating so are the dates that important. I`m also consious that a pumpkin might have peaked well before October and would require that I kept it in a good state until a weigh off. Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks

I'm not from the UK but from across the river in Holland. I would suggest last week of April and outside first week of May.
