Not quite understanding the 90 degree angle of stem to vine. I mean i know what 90 degrees is but is the stem to be straight up from the ground when 90 or is it to lay flat on the ground? Also, I have a few females that seem to be at the joint of the main vine and a couple secondaries(its like there are three leaves or vines in different directions at the female stem) is this ok? Do i let them go or cut off?

the stem is to be coming 90 degrees from the vine. Straight out. I read where you can try to very gently move it to get it closer to 90. good luck

If your going to change the angle do it during the heat of the day. Slowly move it a little each day. I'm telling you this because an inch to far and you will hear the pop of the stem snapping.

90° meaning the pumpkin should be perpendicular to the vine. most times this wont happen by natural means, you have to intervene. veeeeeeeeery slow though
