I've grown some pumpkins in the past few years and have never had over 80 lbs so far. I've ordered the giant pumpkin growing book but it hasn't arrived.
This year I'm using a mix of seeds from last years pumpkins and two I got from a local nursery that they give out for their annual contest; taken from last years crop. When I polinate the females shoud I use males from another plant and how do I choose?

Jeremy, Go to main menu on this site and click on (How To) section. Scroll down to botton of the page and it explains about hand pollinating. Might be helpful information for you. Many good articles posted there. Hope it helps.
