I got hooked on growing big pumpkins this year.
I haven't grown any until last year and ended up with a 76 pounder.(small compared to ones on this site.) Got first place at the fair.
I have raised the bar this year for 500 pounds. I am gutsie uh.
Open to suggestions for seeds. I have been reading and not relizing the different types.
I am ready for suggestions,

Terry, take some time and look thru '06 diaries, find pkn that you like and send an email. Be polite, introduce yerself, tell a little about yerself. Ask if seeds from specific pkn are available. Email envelopes are still present on the diaries. Another option is to search thru seed exchange listing on Message Board. Lots of folks have offered up seeds for price of a bubbleope! mainepumpkins.com Members get seeds donated by other members for joining. Lots of good info on the site. Check out the photos of this passed years weigh offs. You'd get lots of good seeds (1099 Clark would be my first pick of what you'd get)
