I don`t want to sound dumb, but if I am growing pumpkins from a pack, do I still have to pollinate the females? Or is this just done when trying to cross two different plants? Also how do I know which flowers are female or male? Thanks for any help.

Dan the female flower will be evident at the tip of the vine you see it it has a pea bellow the flower, that's gonna be the pumpkin if pollenated. You can leave it up to the bees but if you want to make sure that female gets buzzed in the first couple of hours after opening buzz her yourself!! and be sure to get all the lobes.
