I have two questions. How long can I keep the pumpkin on the vine for? Here in Winnipeg it's getting pretty cold at night. We had another frost warning just yesterday so I'm not too sure how long I can leave it on the vine for. I wrapped it up in lots of blankets to keep it warm and cozy. And how long will a 300 lb. pumpkin keep for, after it's culled off the vine? I want this pumpkin for halloween. Will it keep for a month or so? Thanks O.T.L.

It will keep for a LONG time, over six months, freezing and heat are the enemy, cut that sucker, put her in the garage, keep it dark and cover so it don't freeze
