OK - my plant is dying back and the pumpkin is starting to change color. Growth has slowed way down - no real measurable change. Will I continue to gain weight if still on the vine?

What's the age of the plant and the fruit? Key things in making a call on this one. If the fruit is under 80-90 days old,,yes it can still grow,, not much but anything is a bonus this time of year.

The pumpkin is only 65 days old - it set very late and it's OTT measure puts it at ~ 260 lbs.

Big Orange, my plants are just about spent...but the pumpkins are still gaining about an 1nch a day OTT. It's been that way since September 1st. 1 inch a day doesn't sound like much but it has added up to 97 lbs. If there is any sign of life AG's will try to send it to the fruit. Mark
