What would be the best way to weigh my pumpkin to get a more accurate weighing? I've got some ideas but what are other people doing? My pumpkin is over 250 lbs. so far and has another couple of weeks to go. I can't simply step on the scale with this behemoth in my outstretched arms. Any suggestions are welcome

300 lbs you should be able to bring about anywhere with a scale. We weigh ours on a shipping dock scale that is certified.

Isn't there a weigh off in Roland, MB? Take it there & enjoy the day talking with the other growers in your province. It's a great way to learn from the big guys & maybe trade seeds with then later this winter. I heard of a couple big ones in Manitoba. Take care & good luck with your pumpkin.
