Subject: Canteloping turning green?

I know that canteloping is normal. I thought that canteloping was primarily just the "crusting" type growth. On a couple of the pumpkins the canteloping is turing a greenish color. No sign of rot or mold or ..., the pumpkin seems very healthy so I am not that worried. Just wondering if this is normal or impending doom.

Eric,
What are the genetics involved? The 723 Bobier has some old Lloyd genetics in it that often shows green.

768.5 Sherwood. 723 Bobier is in the great grandparent genetics. Could be it. I am hoping canteloping weights ALOT, LOL as it is the only real growth I am continuing to get on them.
