When do I harvest a pumpkin? For seeds and for show?

Josh. For harvesting Seeds you ideally want your Pumpkins to get as mature as possible, but lets say a very minimum of 50 days to be safe. Harvesting for a Show will obviously depend upon if you plan on entering your County, Local or State Competition and if so when they take place. If you are attending a competition just harvest the Seeds right after the event.
