I had a storm roll throught here last week and devastate my patch. I have two plants that only have 1 side vine a piece left. Both main vines are still buried, all leafs have been mangled and are no longer green. All other side vines were 10 feet high blowing in the wind at one point in the storm, and now turning brown.
My question is. Is there anyway I can continue growing these plant just to get some experience for next year?

Got any new growth at all? Like on the tips of main or secondary, if so I would think after seeing some of the "recovery" that diary's have displayed you should be able to get something outta the plant,,,I know what you mean about experience. You do have alot of time and effort in to this point,,being a rookie as well I'm thankful that to this point I have "dodged the weather bullet". Good luck, hopefully some experienced growers chime in with suggestions for you.
