I am going to put up my shade this weekend. I as going to buy some camouflage tarps for shade. Thought this might also be good in keeping the pumpkin dry from my Rainbirds, but then thought that shade cloth would be less likely to get picked up in the wind, provide circulation, etc.
Does it matter if the pumpkin gets a little wet from the sprinkler? I assume my main fear is going to be rot?
All I really see in the diaries are blue/orange/silver poly tarps. Thoughts?

I use shade cloth and not tarps. My shade cloths are up about 6ft. We used 10 ft. pipe from the well when we had to replace it.
