Sorry if this has been asked before. I did do a search and nothing came up. Well anyway what size and color of tarp should I get for the pumpkins for shading purposes? 4 by 6 or something different. Does color really matter?

the most important thing I can think of is make the structure SOLID, too many people have their structure fall on the poor punkin, color is not important, but I think orange is kewl

I go to WalMart and buy cheap white fabric from the dollar a yard rack. 6 yards will make covers for 4 pumpkins. I just lay it over the pumpkin once it starts getting beyound the shade from the leaves. It works great. I tried shading a couple last year with black weed block fabric. The fabric fell down on my son's pumpkin and caused a burn on the skin. The pumpkin recovered, but I won't make that mistake again.
