1st problem is something is hurting the stems of my leaves. Not to sure if something is nibbling away on them or what. I will put some pictures in the gallery for anybody who wants to take a look. Maybe somebody can shed some light on what is causing the damage. 2nd problem is that my pumpkins keep aborting. And I have run out of primary vine to set them on. I also made the mistake of pinching females out on the secondaries and tertairies. Didn't think I would have a problem with aborts. So now I'm way behind. I not even too sure if I will be able set a pumpkin this year. It's been quite the learning experience. I read that it would be a good idea to set them in the morning so I will try that from now on and somebody in one of the messages I read said that the temperature should be cooler which makes even more sense to set them in the morning. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance

Looks like some sort of rodent damage to me. You need to pollinate your fruits early in the morning like 6-10 am. If you wait to long they will not pollinate and will not set. If the temps are 90 degrees plus you need to keep them cool with ice and keep them shaded with a shade cloth.

Keep a water dish out side, if they are going for water in the vine, they will find it in the bowl
