With all the vine moving (stelts 90 or ...)issues depending on fruit position to the vine, I would like to start moving ASAP after I know a fruit has set. Is there a general size where I can "know" the fruit is set? Tennis ball, soft ball, volley ball?
Thanks

A trained eye can often tell that a pollination "took" the day after. It takes on a glossy look most times. But fruit abort up to about basketball size at which point vine training is still real do-able. Of course they can still blow up or split after that....which is all part of the heartache some years.
